Apply for Project Pride:
As of Monday, February 25th, the Energy Assistance/LIHEAP program has temporarily suspended appointment scheduling, and is expected to reopen on Monday, March 18th.
To accommodate this change, the Project Pride program has made the decision to only assist PUD customers who have received an Urgent notice on their door. This notice should indicate that a payment must be made within a few days of being posted to avoid disconnection. Urgent notices are received after a disconnection notice has not been paid.
For those that have scheduled appointments with Energy Assistance during this period, you must still attend your appointment before applying for Project Pride.
If you have received a disconnect notice in the mail from PUD, you will not be eligible for assistance from Project Pride until you have either received an Urgent notice, or have met with Energy Assistance.
If you power is shut off, you may still go to the Energy Assistance office located at 3000 Rockefeller Ave in Everett, at 8:30am on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday to apply for an emergency grant. You must bring with you the door tag indicating that your power has been disconnected in order to receive assistance from their program at this time.
When Energy Assistance is open, clients must meet with Energy Assistance before they can apply for Project Pride.
